Faculty who maintain a grade spreadsheet outside Blackboard should first download grades and make revisions to the latest available download version of the Grade Center and then upload from that file. Uploading from any other file other than a previously-downloaded Grade Center file may cause issues. In addition, faculty should always download the latest version of their grades from Blackboard before editing in Excel and attempting to upload.

  1. Click the Control Panel button on the left side of the screen in your Course homepage.

  2. Under Assessment, click Grade Center.

  3. Click the Manage button from the Action Bar of the Grade Center.

  4. Click Upload.

  5. Click the Browse button to browse for the file located on the local computer. 
    Note:
    Files can be uploaded from a local computer or the Content Collection.

  6. Locate the file, click on its name and then click the Open button to select it for upload.

  7. Select the Delimiter Type.  Auto will attempt to automatically detect the delimiter used in the selected file.

  8. Click the Submit button.

  9. Review the list below and select what to upload.

  10. Click the Submit button to finish uploading the data.

    Note: Success messages are displayed and the Grade Center is updated.
