  1. Click the Control Panel button on the left side of the screen in your Course homepage.

  2. Under Assessment, click Grade Center.
    Click Gradecenter
  3. Click the Manage button from the Action Bar of the Grade Center.

  4. Click Download.

  5. Select the data to download.

    Notes:

    • Full Grade Center – includes all columns and associated data.
    • Selected Grading Period – if grading periods are utilized with a course, Faculty can download only the grade center elements associated with a specific grading period.
    • Selected Column – Faculty can select the specific column to download.  With the option of including column comments.
    • Student Information Only – columns containing student data such as user name are downloaded.

  6. Decide on the delimiter type.

    Note:
    Either file type will work with common spreadsheet applications such as Excel.  For simplicity, Tab delimiters should be used if Microsoft Excel will be used. Determine if hidden information is needed within the downloaded file.  Choose No if hidden information is not needed.  Choosing Yes, will include all hidden information in the downloaded file.
  7. Select the location for the downloaded file.

  8. Click the Submit button to begin downloading the Grade Center data.

  9. When saving the downloaded file to a local computer, at the Download Grades screen, click the Download button.Download
  10. Click the Save button in the dialogue box that appears if using Internet Explorer (This step may vary in other browsers).

  11. Modify the save in location and file name as needed.  Click the Save button to complete the process.

    The downloaded file can now be opened in Microsoft Excel for viewing or modifying.
