The Digital Dropbox allows students to send files to the Faculty Member. Faculty Members can retrieve student files, comment on them, and return them to the student or share them with other students. [Faculty Members always enter Drop Box through the Control Panel] Students also have a digital drop box that they access from Tools on the navigation menu. The Faculty Member does not have access to a student's Digital Dropbox but can send files to any student on her roster. Students can send files only to the Faculty Member.

  • In the Control Panel click Course Tools and click Digital Drop Box
  • Files submitted by students will be listed
  • Click on file name to retrieve (the file will open differently depending on which browser you use)
    • Right click to save file to your desktop
  • Open file and add comments.
  • Save document with a slightly different name to differentiate it from the student's original file.
  • Files can be sent back to the student by using the Send File feature  send file
    • Control Panel click Course Tools and then click Digital Drop Box and click Send File
    • Browse for target file and select recipient of file.
  • Files will go back to the student's digital drop box.
