Enabling Peer Review

The online equivalent of peer assessment can take place using the Peer Review feature available within the Discussion Board. With this feature, students can post their work and share it with the class. Other students then are asked to comment on the work. As students review the work, they can assign a rating to the initial post.

  1. Click Communication on the Course Homepage.

  2. Click Discussion Board.

  3. Click the Modify button for the Forum to be enhanced with peer review.

  4. From the Forum Settings area, select the Allow members to rate posts option.

  5. Click the Submit button.
    6. Submit
  6. Users can now rate the post using the Rate this post dropdown box.
    Note:     A user cannot rate the same post more than once.
